The Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa participates at the edition 2014 of Festival of Arts Giudecca Sacca Fisola: either many events dedicated specifically to the event or others at the Atelier placed at Chiostro  dei  SS. Cosma e Damiano in Giudecca. In this way, visitors will be given the opportunity to meet the artists in residence and the places in which they, for twelve months, they produce their own works.
The public, and not Venetian, will thus go into places of artistic production, watching the painted canvas and those still in the process of manufacture of the duo of Joseph Abate and Paola Angelini and research conducted by the collective Anemoi around the themes of unanimity, the possible creation of a new mythology and contemporary circular temporality in opposition to the linearity of production. If the documentation and videos atelier report the site-specific diFabrizio Perghem, focused on the relationship between man and the landscape, the work of Fabio Roncato originate from mico-personal stories to reveal more complex mechanisms of the society in which we live, the construction of imaginary relatives to production dynamics of an area. The Contractors' Association, whose design is based loosely on the scene of Bernini, through a research-iconographic technique reveal a fascination for the theatrical machinery, the elevating stage instruments to autonomous works. Just one of these machines will produce the acoustic accompaniment of The Tempest, installation of fire of the Roman Paul Buggiani. The show will take place on Thursday, September 11 at 19:30 at the Fondamenta San Biagio.
Such as interference, appear in these workplaces also the works of artists assignees of a study at the Palazzo Carminati: Samuel Cherubini with his work Technical tests of a launch, installation in which a lifesaver nautical performs the function of disco ball, tackles with irony hybridization between the imaginary and traditional Venetian elements brought by tourism and modernity. On the border between reality and fiction places the Polaroid Book by Pamela Breda, where the charm to a medium like film polaroid is satisfied through a digital trick, hidden from further collection process in a publication. And while the projection of Catherine Erica Shanta welcomes and surprises the viewer through light patterns and optical illusions playful and hypnotic effect, video materials to accompany the concert EleonoraSovrani The Mechanical Tales, which will be held at the Complex of SS. Cosmas and Damian at 20:00 of Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, 2014.
