King Of Time. Drawings by Mirko Artuso

With the support of Ca' Foscari and the participation of non-profit Magic Radio, conceived and curated by Elena Rocco, Professor of the Department of Management, returned to Venice the exposure that brigs to the heart of the city the drawings of Mirko Artuso's activities, for this occasion, with a rich program of events: workshops and meetings on the subject of disability and free guided tours every weekend. The traveling exhibition "King of Time" returns to Venice after the premiere at the Teatro Groggia, exhibition spaces; the exhibition of drawings of the actor, director and artist Mirko Trevisan Artuso (from October 27 to November 30, 2014, press preview Sunday, October 26 at 14, opening at 17) is transformed for the occasion into "King of Time," sketches of Mirko Artuso - the art that meets the social, a larger project linked to the world of disability through a rich program of events, weekly. Associations and foundations active in the field will be so involved in a series of workshops, workshops, meetings and presentations.
The project is sponsored by Venice Art Society, an association that brings together artists, curators and practitioners, and promotes international exchanges and residencies in theater, music, literature, photography, design and visual arts, concerted together and each in its specificity and got sponsored by Mibact - Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Landscape of Venice and the lagoon, which has recognized the social value of the initiative. The University Ca 'Foscari of Venice, for his care and sensitivity to the educational activities of the disabled, granted the patronage of the event.
At the opening October 26 will be Elena Rocco, creator and current executive director of Fondazione Onlus Radio Magic - a digital design that provides a portal and a media library which Free Ca 'Foscari University is a founding member - formerly the Vice-Rector for initiatives in support of care, integration and well-being of persons with disabilities and Professor of Management and Strategy at the University Ca 'Foscari of Venice.
Armed with this important collaboration, the project is thus enriched by a series of events related to the topic of disability, to be held for the entire period of the exhibition.
  In addition, every Saturday and Sunday will be possible to book a free guided tour of the exhibition, curated by Anffas Mestre, non-profit association of families of people with intellectual disabilities and relational. Guests of the community "New Cipressina" will take care of the reception of visitors and explanation of the exhibition, supported by staff and volunteers of the structure (for info and reservations: 333 5990911, Martha Bonesso).
Every Sunday there will be meetings, workshops and workshops on the subject of disability involving different organizations and foundations working in this sector with various projects and approaches, ranging from music to sports to teaching, designed to promote well-being, social integration and developing the skills of people with disabilities (note: information on individual events will be spread close to the date of programming).
