Path is the way within an installation of Sandro Martini, conceived as a free event, to engage the public at every stage of its realization in different ways and on different levels, made ??possible thanks to the commitment of the cultural Deinde, with the support of Regione Piemonte.

STUDY and ASSEMBLY. The paintings of Sandro Martini, dense and vital unfold on the room, going dialogue with architecture and space, not absolute, but open to the subjectivity of the users in the warnings and the emotions it arouses.
For 4 days (30, October 31, November 3 and 4) a group of students of the Department of Architecture in Turin will be involved in the design and participate in the assembly of the installation. Following the official opening on November 4.
Signs, pigments, codes, cables, clamps and geometries will be studied and analyzed in a first step by the guys who, in collaboration with the artist, will give life to the container frame of the events that will take place from 4 to 8 November in the auditorium of columns of the Castello del Valentino in Turin.
 
The ROLE OF USERS. Visitors will be asked to take an active role in Path: will be able to give an interpretation of the work through photographs and brief shots of the installation and performance art that most excited them. The material thus obtained will complement a video, in real time, will be a work within the installation.
 
PERFORMANCE. Performance artists will be welcomed in this space to offer performances of improvisation focusing on the creative reinterpretation of the installation, with performances of theater, dance and music.
 
STORYTELLING. The whole experience of PATH, starting from the hypothesis of implementation, the project, to the dismantling of the installation and its continuity later, will be narrated by some students of the Department of Humanities of Turin.
 
SANDRO MARTINI. Internationally renowned artist active since the sixties. In his long career he was confronted with different materials and languages: painting, engraving, from creation to installation of cages, placing particular attention to space and three-dimensionality, in order to involve choral.
After working for a long time in America he settled in Milan, where he has his studio. For the first time in Turin, the artist presents a project already developed at the University of Massachusetts Fine Art Center, which directly involves young students in creating a landscape in the landscape.
