El compromiso de los novios. Roberta Feoli De Lucia & Francesco Pio Chierici

Roberta Feoli De Lucia and Francesco Pio Chierici have always been in love but as two entities apart. They participated in several exhibitions, but always as independent artists. However, now that the relationship is changing, heading towards a religious and civil union, to celebrate this we announce an artistic event.

“El compromiso de los novios” is the engagement promise with the knowledge that love will lead to a wedding. The exhibition shows work made by four hands, by both artists. Many ideas initiated by one and executed by the other, using a diverse range of media from felt tip markers to engraving on materials from stone to paper. Their works are united by an imagination that for years has been alchemically intertwined, giving different forms to indigenous, cheetahs, Quetzocal and “calavere”.
The two artists plan to get married this year and have chosen the exhibition as a physical place to celebrate the spirit of their union by jointly curating the event. Friends and foreigners are invited to enter into the artistic life of the duo.
