From November 9 to 23, Platinum Collection will present the third edition of the biennial exhibition "Meeting of Art", hosted this year by Officina delle Zattere in Venice.
It is an exhibition devoted to the complexity of contemporary Italian art scene and its different souls, that will be told by more than 120 works by emerging contemporary artists, selected from all over the country by the organizers.
The core foundation of this view is represented by the great masters of the '900, which will be showing some works from private collections. The artists who have renewed their figurative tradition living and working in Venice, as Virgilio Guidi, Armando Pizzinato, Anton Zoran Muši?, Felice Carena, have approached the Cadore Fiorenzo Tomea and Jutes Ravenna; the orientation of non-figurative, who played a very important role in bringing the Italian painting at the European artistic culture '900, will be represented by Antonio Corpora, Emilio Vedova and Riccardo Licata.
The meeting between their works and the works selected for the exhibition will highlight the legacy of the past century Italian contemporary art, in which the figurative tendencies are interspersed with other post-expressionist and abstract, and artists, seeking its own representation of thought, and the history of the world, rely on traditional techniques (painting, sculpture or graphics) while reimpiegandole in an innovative way.
A demonstration of this research, the organizers have thought three gifts retrospective. The first will be dedicated to oil dell'istriana Dalma Bresolin (1923 - 2001), which testify to its incredible vitality through the bright colors and combinations between real forms and abstract elements.
The second will be a tribute to Mauro Clot (1925 - 2010), whose paintings of Raggianti said that they are like "the favorite place for the creative explosion of the Spirit and groped for a creation, a regeneration of the universe." The exhibition will then remind the designer Guido Galli (1890 - 1944) and his watercolors, which alternate theatrical subjects (sketches created for all the great theaters such as La Scala in Milan, Lyric, Diana, Olimpia) traditional themes in art history, such as floral arrangements.
Another cornerstone of the exposure will be the expression of Luciano Warnings Trevisan, the well-known advertising and painter feels some sort of agenda that lists "40 years of events and carelessness of man," injustices and contradictions of our society.
The exhibition will be presented by Vittorio Sgarbi Sunday, November 9 at 18.
